About Me

 

      Omaha has been my HOME!   Starting this career in 1983 was a journey that in the early years I didn't know how it would work!  However, year by year, and all the people I have been fortunate to meet both in my business and through referrals. . . I have LOVED the opportunity to learn and grow every day in being a problem-solver for many clients!  I am well-connected with many venues throughout the city, with my experience and exceeding some expectations.  Before getting my REALTOR license, I worked many years at Millard Lumber as an estimator and Contractor Sales. which has now given me a vast knowledge of the building process not only in residential but also in larger buildings.  You will discover that I have a great working knowledge of houses from the ground up.  I love a challenge, so our family's "Claim to Fame" was physically moving a large 2 story brick Colonial house from Barrington Park 15 miles out of the Omaha City limits to a subdivision just west of Omaha in the summer of 2003. Having to obtain many permits and meet many requirements, as well as organize professionals to accomplish this proves that I can cover every detail when helping you in your needs! 

     We also offer a full line of Relocation Services, assist Corporate Recruiters attracting prospects to Omaha....I have had the opportunity to give many corporate candidates a tour of Omaha before they have accepted a job here...I can answer questions about Omaha, and if I can't -- I do know where to find the answer!

It’s hard to say something new and unique about Bill Black and his team. My wife and I relocated from Tennessee to Nebraska for work and was introduced to Bill by our company. Bill and his team worked tirelessly and went well “ above and beyond” what most realtors would do. In addition he is very knowledgeable about Nebraska and the Omaha area. ABR – Accredited Buyer’s Representative    

The ABR means that I can focus and work directly in the home-buying process from the beginning to the celebration day with you, the buyer!  It also means that I can elect to work also as a listing agent for the property you are desiring to buy.   An Exclusive Buyer's Agent works only with the buyer and does not represet a seller.  

CRB – Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager   

Because I wanted to raise my professional standard, and become a better expert in the brokerage management, I took this class because it teaches how to raise professional standards and become better at office management.  Personal Achievement is necessary in self-employment and this designation gives you the highest level in real estate brokerage management.

CREN – Certified Real Estate Negotiator   

To be a good REALTOR, negotiation is key, not only in the initial contract, but also along the timeline to closing!  This is a learned skill and not only comes with classroom time, but also experience in many contracts.  It has a significant impact on the sale or purchase of your new home!

CRP – Certified Relocation Professional     

You know that new trends, best practices and evolution in the employee mobility industry all are important in today's world.  I am committed to have an ongoing spirit of learning this through continuing education.

CRS – Certified Residential Specialist     

The CRS Designation is the highest credential award to residential sales agents, managers and brokers.   It shows that we are recognized as an expert in residential sales.   

CSP – Certified Sales Professional       

Because I worked at Millard Lumber and know some basics of how a building is put together, I was interested in getting this designation designed for specialists in new home sales to enhance my professional image, and increase my marketability in the home building industry and sell more homes for a builder!

GRI – Graduate, Realtor Institute       

GRI REALTORS  really stand out to buyers and sellers as an expert professional with in-depth training in legal and regulatory issues, technology, professional standards, and the sales process.  

MRP – Military Relocation Professional     

With a former Military Officer as our manager, I'm now excited to have this designation to be able to work with current and former military service members, helping them to take full advantage of their earned benefits, and support to find them the proper housing!
